“Godspeed” is a story about a mother saying goodbye to her son at the airport. The audience is brought close to the internal thoughts of the main characters – the mother and the son. The son wants a goodbye hug, but the non-expressive mother is reluctant to do so. The seemingly small conflict between them is amplified by showing extreme close ups on their faces, visualizing the weight of struggle each of them is experiencing.
