The annual CAFF hosted by EDI Media Inc. is going to take place from Nov 1 to Nov 30, in Hollywood, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. VOC Season 2 winner Li Qi is going to perform his self-composed theme song “Grown like this” during the 11th CAFF Welcome Dinner and Opening Ceremony.
Li Qi is very excited about the performing on the CAFF stage. He said, “It is an honor to have the opportunity presented by CAFF committee this year to be a part of China-US cultural event.” He has a special feeling for Los Angeles since his first visit in April this year, as a Judge during the 4th Voice of China – USA Audition. He also performed his hit song at the end of the Audition. It was his oversea trip, Li Qi said with excitement, “All my dreams since I was little have come true, to be a singer, to win Voice of China, to perform on the stage of Spring Festival, to release my first album, to have a concert at an university, to have tour concerts across the country. I’ve also dreamed about traveling the world, and I finally did, and it was Los Angeles.”
By 2015, the Chinese American Film Festival has entered its 11th year, the festival opened the second decade of prominence. CAFF will serve as a cultural brand with the support from everyone involved. It has “Grown Like This” as Li Qi’s song resonates. Together, professionals from film industry of both China and U.S. will promote the East-West cultural exchanges and understanding. Through this platform, the Maritime Silk Road will continue to spread Chinese culture to the entire world.
